Title: DOI's for image identification?
Post by: b.e.wilson on March 16, 2004, 07:37:33 pm
Does anyone use DOI (digital object identifiers, http://www.doi.org) (http://www.doi.org)) to identify your images? Seems there is a push now to expand DOI's from journal citations to images, sounds, video, etc.

If so, what did your prefix cost, and how easy is it to establish a handle for each image?
