Title: Winter's Icy Grip

Here in southern Ontario we've experienced a couple of days of freezing rain, not so bad here in Guelph, but 10s of thousands without power elsewhere.

Here is one from this morning: "Snowdrops in Winter's Icy Grip"

FZ1000; 400mm equivalent; f/8@ 1/160; shot in raw, processed in LR6.5

Like this very much.  Very beautiful and natural colours.  Poor snowdrops!

Lovely.

Winter near Boston was much warmer than usual, with a few very short intervals of extreme cold, and very little snow.
The last day of winter was in the 60s (F), and then the first day of spring was cold and with about four inches of snow.
One of our crocuses bravely poked its head above the snow, but the others succumbed. I'm sorry I didn't get a snap of it.

Well done Terry!  At least you have some Snowdrops out.  We may, but if we do they are hidden under the snow.   :D

Terry, that's great. Has a good feel. I think it might even be the start of a (3) part photo set... at least that's what I might do with such a fantastic feel. Maybe you can get it in the next stages during the thaw. Although I'm not sure that would compliment this photo, but where there's a will, there's a way.

Beautiful, I'm sure the snowdrops survived the ice :)
