Title: Wakefield, March Rain
Post by: luxborealis on March 19, 2016, 09:53:13 am
A crappy-looking image of a crappy day, but hopefully I've captured the mood, which is the whole point here, I believe. Your thoughts?

For me, mood is everything, Terry. Brrrrrrr, shivery, crappy! Go back inside by the fire! My only very little quibble is that I might like to see a little more detail in the foreground snow, but then.... it's snow, so how much detail can there be ;)

You certainly caught the mood! Winter has now passed in Scotland and this is a reminder that it has.. Worth posting.

Agreed.  Darkening the bottom of the FG would enhance the creepy mood.

Overall, though, I love it.  Well worth braving the crappy weather.

Catches the mood just fine. I want to go inside for a good hot toddy!

Good stuff. Moody indeed. I would have chosen another colour for the frame, white on white snow does not work well I think.
