One of the many small but fun to explore and photograph arches in the Alabama Hills.
-
Great light and nice colors, but the smack center placement of the subject is unfortunate. ;)
How many arches are there in that area. I thought Moebius was the only one. Obviously I was wrong.

Spectacular and nothing to complain about. Nicely processed. Thanks for posting.

Here is a second image from a slightly different angle and a little before the sun hit the arch.
-
The second one looks slightly underexposed on my monitor but it is another fine image. Nothing like this - that I have seen - in Scotland where I live so these type of images are novel to me.
-
Both fine images.
Gives me another reason to want to get to the Alabama hills while I can still carry a camera.

There are numerous small arches in the Alabama Hills to photograph. Mobius Arch is the most popular so you need to arrive before sunrise to get one of the few good spots to shot from. I believe there is a map of the arches online if you search Alabama Hills Arches. :)

Oh, man, there are at least 100 in the AH.

I prefer #1, better light. and the central placement does not bother me, as it allows me to see the arch and the surrounding boulders.
