The Isle of Eigg is a very small and remote island out of the Scottish Inner Hebrides, on Scotland's west coast; walking on its coasts and bays and exploring its wild beauty is a truly unique experience. At sunset, with Rhum on the background, the sands of Eigg are just wonderful.

With the SD1 Merrill and the 10-20mm. Thanks for viewing, best

Very beautiful. A wonderful location. Love the shape of Rhum's silhouette.

What Terry said. Very fine shot.
-
Stunning shot, and one that should work well as a monochrome image too.

Me too. Also, the image has an other-worldly feel to it.

Sublime.

Beautiful! Enough said.

Wow! This is really impactful. Simply beautiful.

Sorry for the delay in replying, been traveling - Thank you very much everyone for your nice comments, I agree with the otherworldly feeling, I was aiming for that... about the monochrome idea, it is sort of monochromatic already, so I think it'd probably work; I haven't even tried, to be honest, I was very happy with the splash of colour that this had... :D

As per comments above. Absolutely beautiful and simple. Perfect vignetting. Great colours - don't you dare B&W it! ;-)

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments! :D I love minimalism and I'd love to try my hand at it when the landscape is suitable for that, glad you enjoyed it. And - it'll stay in colour, the_marshall_101, don't worry: it's sort of monochromatic anyway ;)
Best regards,
