Title: Capture One Multiple Catalogs

Hi. Still working my way through Capture One. Before importing my Lightroom catalog I had an idea to make the Lightroom catalog a Capture One catalog unto itself. Then all new images I would import into a second Capture One catalog to keep the size down. Is this possible and are there any downsides that you know of?

Yes, possible. No, no downsides. For Capture One a catalog is like a document. You can create as many catalogs (documents) as you like. Be aware you can not do a search through multiple catalogs, only inside a catalog.
