Title: Which Internal Stabilisation system to use - Sony A7rII

I recently purchased a Sony 70-200mm f/4 lens.  I was surprised to see that the lens had an optical steady shot’ switch.  Since the A7rII has an inbuilt stabiliser, why the ‘steady shot’?  When mounted on a tripod, do I turn this function off both on the lens and in the camera?  I don’t understand the reasoning behind this because this lens will only fit on the A7 series bodies.  What is the correct/best way to go about this.

The lens and body "work together" Lens tries to compensate X and Y shift movement, body tries to compensate roll, yaw and pitch movement.
System can only be "all on" or "all off".

OSS in the lens works also with the first generation A7 cameras, which do not have "in body" stabilization.
