Title: Building a workshop clientele
Post by: kevs on January 21, 2016, 06:55:19 pm
I've been wondering about this idea, and a photographer friend said the main point is networking, or better put, getting following on Facebook with the types of people who might want to take a workshop. Is that the main crust of how it works now, or, any other ideas/ tips? Thanks.

The question you need to answer is why would I take a workshop from you when there are hundreds available from well established photographers. What do you offer that differentiates you from someone who has been doing it for 20 years?

Thanks C

Thanks another post actually-- Sales -- great new topic. Let's assume this is about a portrait photographer who indeed has been shooting for well known magazines and advertising for 20 years, and has a nice workshop webpage. Then this topic is about marketing that --- how would best/ even get that info to you in the first place.
