Somewhere along the line of confusing versions and updates I unwittingly wound up with both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC2014 both installed. Since Photoshop CC is in my dock and I habitually open it there, I didn't notice for a while. I'm assuming 14 is the newer version of the other, odd it didn't install over the old. Can I just uninstall the older one I make sure all plugins and settings are moved over? Are there any gotchas to this or some issue I am unaware? A little bewildered of how the updating process resulted in this in the first place...
I asked on the Adobe forum but no replies.
Thanks for any advice.

You can uninstall CC with no problems. As you have mentioned, just make sure all the plugins, filters, custom brushes, actions etc have been copied over to CC 2014.
