Hi,
on a fully manual V series body - say a 501cm which doesnt have the TTL - how does one sync with studio strobes?
Does it require a sync cable run to the lens? If so, how does that work with digital backs - dont they also require that cable to be connected?
thanks

sync cable connects to the digital back

thanks - what about film backs?

Hi,
There is a sync contact on the lens. With Phase One backs you contact the sync contact to the back and the flash also to the back.
With film you contact the flash to the lens. If you use a radio transmitter, you would also connect to the lens (for film) or the back for digital.
Best regards
Erik
