Title: Tree trunk and fallen leaves
Post by: chuckn on December 14, 2015, 05:47:36 pm
Took this in the redwoods last summer. I liked how the tree in the foreground was isolated from the large dark redwoods in the back. The leaves provided added texture to the photograph.

Interesting visual effect: At first glance the spaces between the tree trunks looked like icicles.
I like the image, even after seeing it correctly.

Nice image, with some interesting lines. I am not sure if it would be possible, but I would like to see a bit more separation between the trunks in the background. They are a bit amalgamated into a dark mass.

Hi Chuck,

I would give the left space between the trunks the same color that the one in the middle, mid gray.

That way the eyes won't be attracted by the white space.

Have a Nice Day.

Interesting shot, there's plenty of things to discover and imagine. I like the B&W treatment.
