Title: The Old Man of Storr
Post by: Vieri Bottazzini on December 10, 2015, 05:16:58 pm
The Old Man of Storr is perhaps the Isle of Skye's most known landmark, one that has been photographed to death up close and from afar. During my previous trip to Skye, I found a new location to shoot the Old Man; during my last trip on Skye this last April for my Workshop I revisited that same location after two years, something I always find interesting.

With the Pentax 645z and the 28-45mm f/4.5. Thanks for viewing! Best,

I like the natural processing of the photo.

Just the right amount of saturation/vibrance and contrast.

...and snow!  ;D Thank you very much Paulo, I am glad you liked it!

Spectacular! Well worth revisiting.

Thank you very much stamper, I find that coming back over and over to the same locations helps in finding inspiration  :D very rarely (if ever) I get my best images on my first trip to whatever location... knowing a place really well definitely helps in portraying it and its soul!

Best,

Vieri
