Title: Perspective crop on a MOV file
Post by: Eric Kellerman on December 08, 2015, 08:21:04 am
I'd like to do a Perspective Crop (as in Photoshop) on a video file (.MOV). The file comes from my Canon 5dII. In PS 6, I can only apply an ordinary crop. Do I need specialist video editing software?

You can do it in Adobe After Effects if you have it. Create a custom size composition and drop your mov into it. You can resize your mov then to accomplish the crop. If you do that you'll limit the range of playback devices. It would be better to letter-box your video in a 1920x1080 composition.
