Is there some way to be looking at images in a collection and delete selected ones from the catalog AND disk?
I'm stumped.

Select the ones you want to delete, right click and left click "remove photo" and you'll have a choice to "remove" (from collection) or "delete from disk" which also removes the image from your collection.

In the trial version of Capture One Pro 9, when right-clicking on an image, I don't get a "Remove Photo" option. See the attached screenshot.

Are you using a catalog ?
'Cos if you are, I presume that that is what the 'Delete from Album' menu option is.
If you're using sessions, the menu entry is 'Delete Variant' (yes, both for variants and originals)

Yes, the image is in an Album that's part of a collection in the catalog.
Sadly, "Delete from Album" does exactly that - deletes the image from the album, but leaves it on the drive. I want it to be gone, gone.
