I thought I'd continue a post I started up on the RG MF forum a few months back. Over a period of what was only a few weeks of discussion of what it meant to use MF, there was a stunning collection of work exihibited -- often work that backed up the words and breadth of experience of the photographer expressing a view on a particular subject. I collected these links from these conversations, and from a thread listing favorite sites, and have also added a few since.
For me, these images help make sense of what it means to use MF. And, regardless of the equipment used, inspire.
I also hope that some of those who posted on RG and are migrating here -- not students like me, but the teachers -- will again start to set off on new conversations and explorations as they so often did on RG. It was their voices that took RG from the technical to far beyond that, and no doubt could again to the same here.

Steven, thank you for reposting these. I was making my way through your list--and it seems to me that others had added their favorite links too--hope they will continue here.
-
Let me add my thanks. An impressive database of links.

Hello Steven,
Thank you for posting your previous list here.
I am an "orphan" as well from There!
The information that were dismissed so, is mostly lost forever. I hope some of it can be re posted here.
All the best, Tony

Nice work Paul.
Here's one that is not shot in medium format, but is such strong work about a very difficult subject to bring to earth -- the Chernobyl disaster -- that I thought worth adding in. Adds a perspective to the other work listed.
http://todayspictures.slate.com/inmotion/essay%5Fchernobyl/ (http://todayspictures.slate.com/inmotion/essay%5Fchernobyl/)
I should add that there are some deeply troubling images here -- because of the subject and the artistry behind those images. Essentially the anti-matter of much of the work above.
-
Thought I'd add this to return to the heart of purely MF digital. Apparently nearly all of the punch in his images is captured in the shoot and not created in post.

Paul and Eric, powerful work. Very interesting use of the 2 1/4 format.
Here's some work where the juxtaposition of subject and intense color speaks for itself.
