Title: Nikkor 105mm micro VR vs older
Post by: troyb on April 11, 2006, 12:33:20 pm
Fellow nikon users,

The AF 105mm micro f2.8D is one of my favorite lens.  I was wondering if anyone knows if the new AF-S VR Micro 105mm f2.8G IF-ED is optically as good or better.

Anyone use one yet?

My feeling is that the VR alone isn't a good enough reason for an upgrade so if there isn't much difference I'll stick with the older model.
