Title: Antelope Dusk
Post by: mseawell on November 07, 2015, 11:00:52 am
Antelope Island. One of my frequent haunts in the Autumn. On this particular day we were showing the island to our friend visiting from Belgium. We were fortunate in that we got a lively light show and this was taken just as it reached climax.

It has a muted, subtle quality to it that I like a lot.

An example when a picture really needs to be seen on a black background to be really appreciated. Or shadows opened a tad if white background is unavoidable. Otherwise, as noted, muted, subtle, and serene.

Relaxing and soothing, everything is soft/quiet in this wonderful shot.

Couldn't say it any better than that.

I appreciate all the kind comments on this capture. I printed it on my Epson 3880 and it came out nicely. I haven't had the Epson too long but it is certainly a step up from my previous printer. Anyway, thanks again!

That's my favorite kind of sunrise/sunset photo - the "blue hour". Very nice composition, great light, thanks for sharing this!
