I always loved Sicily, the land and its people, which I have been visiting since my childhood. In 2012 during a short tour of the island I got fascinated by the old sea salt ponds near Trapani: such a beautiful place, so inspiring and with such an amazing appeal that I spent an evening and a morning shooting around the "saline", and I wish I had more time to explore the place even longer.
