Title: CF Systems ColorPerfect
Post by: mouse on October 20, 2015, 05:05:13 pm
I find just a few references to this software in this forum, dating back a couple of years.
It appears they have updated the system ColorPerfect which installs as a plugin for Adobe Photoshop and is designed as a substitute for LR/ACR for conversion of RAW files as well as processing for scanned negatives.
Does anyone have any recent experience with this product?

I use it amongst several other raw converters.  It has it strengths and limitations, just like most applications.  Its workflow is also integrated directly into Photoline.  In Photoline you can import your supported raw file and the raw file will be converted to a linear UniWB 16bit file ready for processing with the ColorPerfect plug-in.  This essentially removes the step of using the MakeTiff helper utility that goes with ColorPerfect.
