Some  attachments open in a new window. Some attachments open within the post.

what  causes this?

I also see this happening. Started rather recently with a slight change in the appearance of the forum, i.e, I noticed that the > arrow (bottom of the forum page) vanished recently.

We thought we had this fixed.  Give us a day or two to look into it.  Just about all the other things reported have been addressed.
