Title: Problem with wireless remote on GH4 is driving me nutty.
Post by: Mjollnir on September 29, 2015, 02:03:36 pm
I'm about at the point where I'm going to strangle kittens.

Just back from a trip this weekend, where I had been using my usual wireless flash on the GH4 until one point where I inadvertently touched the LCD screen and evidently set off some function/setting or other, because since that time, when I 1/2 depress the button on the wireless remote, the usual autofocus green squares show up, but when I press further to trigger the shutter, NOTHING happens.

The green squares just sit there on the screen, there's a green circle in the upper right hand corner, but NO actuation of the shutter.

What's even more frustrating is that the Panny wired shutter release I have works when this wireless one doesn't.

Anyone have ideas about what I might have done and how to undo it?

Perhaps my wireless unit has just given up the ghost and it's time to buy another, but its failure coincided with me activating something through the LCD, so I just can't be sure.
