Title: Color on Epson P2000 screen.
Post by: David Anderson on March 22, 2006, 02:01:57 am
Hi all,
After ANOTHER round of meltdowns from my Apple 17' laptops I bought an Epson P2000 while on the road for a job.
I love it for downloading and viewing raws and the fact that unlike my Apples it's still working after the first couple weeks.

I want to show clients my Portfolio shots on it but have noticed the Jpegs I already have done for that look a bit cold on the screen.
What I'm wondering is there a color profile in the outputs of C1 Pro or CS1 that would work with the screen of the P2000.

Any advice?

David.

I also have the P2000 and use it with a Canon 350D.

I notice that images shot using Adobe 1998 RGB, look a bit dull compared to images that were shot using sRGB. Is is especially visable when viewing strong colours like purple or red.

I see a simillar difference when viewing the images on the camera's LCD monitor.

I dont think these rather simple viewers, take account of the embedded colour space profile of the image.
