Everybody wants something for nothing, and unless your living depends on such dodgy, unreliable and unpredictable businesses as found in the creative arts, there's no actual understanding of the fragility of such, of the number of misses before a hit etc. etc.

Everyone wants the Beatles and the Stones (as examples only) to make music; few feel like paying them, especially because they are seen to have become very rich. Envy blinds the eye, even as that eye allows the listener/viewer to further enjoy the aura of the artist because of that success.

Shame on the rip-offs. But who shall cast the first stone?
