Great view but puzzled by the image quality,very grainy, blown cloud highlights ?

Agreed. Taken through glass? I would crop out the left hand side because the leaves don't add anything.

The concept is clear enough, but, as yoiu can see by the comments, the delivery suffers. It looks over-processed with grain added. If that's what you intended, then you've succeeded.

However, the branches "in the way" don't add to the photos as there are not enough of them to make it look intended; rathe they look like poor composition.

Gotta agree with Terry about the composition.

Try this:

You find a really neat shot and you grab your camera and look thru the viewfinder. Before you push the button, take a good hard look around the perimeter of the viewfinder and look for those branches poking into the frame.... also the fence at the bottom..either step back  so the fence is an integral part of the image or move forward to get out of there.
 Move around till you get those imposers out of the view finder.
Also, minimize the clouds in the image.

It's all a learning process.
