Title: Alpine Meadow Sunrise
Post by: James Clark on August 24, 2015, 04:36:06 pm
I had one morning free from a recent work trip to Denver, so I woke at 4, and drove two hours.  I arrived just in time to jump out and handhold a few shots before the sun escaped from behind the hills. Literally another single minute and I would have missed this!

Worth getting up for. A very nice, serene image.

Fantastic... This photo doesn't produce a Wow effect but a more progressive, quieter, relaxing pleasure.
Well done and you should really be jumping out of bed at 4 am more often!

Thank you both!   I agree absolutely, and I find that my sunrise images tend to have a more subtle, less dramatic outcome than lots of the very dynamic sunset imagery we are used to seeing, and I'm ok with that. It could just be also that my morning mindset is calmer and more reflective.
