For years, Profile will not let me enter an email address—it insists on using my username.
I know my password but Profile will not let me store it in my profile. I have tried resetting my password but, because Profile will not let me enter an email address, it rejects my attempts to reset or change my password.
This is a lovely catch 22 situation!
How do I get out of it?

Thank you, Chris, for your PMs. Problem seems to have fixed itself.
The only downside is that the username and password fields at the top right are no longer pre-populated but that is not a major problem as the password was always wrong.
I will click "Remember me" to see if that brings back the pre-population.
