Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is currently being hosted by my home town, Sligo. Ireland. Translated, its name means The Music Festival of Ireland and that is exactly what it is. The event is the largest single festival of Irish music in the world, and can reach attendances of 400,000 over the course of an eventful week. Many characters abound.
