Title: Epson 7890
Post by: BobDavid on August 11, 2015, 08:39:21 am
I had a 9900. The head gave out after three years. i replaced it with a 7890. I have had much fewer issues (knock on wood) with this printer than the 9900. Is this typical of the X900 series vs. the X890?

Not sure what to say but my "old" 16 month 9890 is limping so last week I bought another 9890 to be ready for the Christmas rush. I've read many problems with the x890s and x900s so it does appear to be common. If I could get mine to last 3 years I would actually be jumping for joy but I have a serious dust problem that I am trying to resolve. A great website to look at for free advice is myx900.com as it applies to both versions.
