From aboard schooner Angelique in barefoot mode as captain slept below...made the mistake of sqeaky rubber socks one morning...not a good way to befriend the man in charge... ;)
Just starting to review the incredible light of the morning twilights that week...
(You see the moon approaching its set as the sun was rising through the layers of fog behind me... made for magical light!)

Lovely, evocative.

Composition could be a bit tidier, but the light is wonderful.

Indeed a lovely serene scene.

Beautiful and magical light!

The mood created in this photo is wonderful. I particularly appreciate the color palette and the fog. I am also wondering if a crop retaining the moon and yacht while eliminating the partially seen vessel on the right could make a stronger composition?

Thank you for showing this image. It is very moody.

Yes, very evocative lighting. Thanks for posting.

Fantastic. Looks like a Turner. Good reward for getting up early.
Agreed about removing the foreground element at left.

Patricia, what a wonderful moment you have chosen to share with us..your awareness of light in all it's forms is inspiring..as it has always been for me.
