Title: Man-o-War Bay
Post by: Chairman Bill on July 22, 2015, 03:07:59 pm
Set along Dorset's Jurassic Coast, just the other side of Durdle Door (for those who know where that is), is the less-often photographed Man-o-War Bay.

This is breath taking. What setup did you use?

What a magnificent setting! Hope you got some in more mellow light, too.

Thanks. Glad you like it. As for the details, it was a D700, a Nikon 24-85mm 3.5-4.5, at 28mm, f10, ISO 200, and I can't remember the shutter speed, but it was decent enough that I didn't need to use the tripod I didn't have with me  :)

Unfortunately not - we were on holiday, with other places to be, but I'm certainly planning a winter visit, which should give a different kind of light.

Great capture of a place I'd like to be right now.
