Clever (or not so) titles escape me at the moment, so apologies if the subject line is rather prosaic. Lately I've gone down a path of constructing limited-focus images of flowers and flora, letting minimal form be defined mostly by out of focus color gradients. Since there is not much in the way of rules here, it's not always clear when a good result has been achieved. So comments and opinions are welcome, whatever they may be.

I agree with Tony. Very nice!

I like it too. Our brain fills in the rest of the shape, based on the soft details.

My one-second reaction was something like "Where's the meat?"
But taking a few more seconds, it becomes almost hypnotic. A fine, meditative image that stirs the imagination.
Nice!

I'm glad you are getting some positive responses on this shot. I have tried a bit of this sort of thing but it is more difficult than it looks.

I appreciate the feedback from each of you. More experiments to come, but as I'm sure too many would become tiresome, I'll try to show restraint in posting the results.

It's a pure floral bliss…

Just luscious!

Love it. You are in a rich field for exploration.
Are you composing with a tilt LCD or angled viewfinder?

Spectacular, yet subtle. Contemplative. I like the path you've been drawn down - very productive.
