Post by: armand on June 29, 2015, 10:37:58 pm: I figured. I initially posted only the first uncroped version then within seconds of posting I realized the sky might detract so I added the crop. For whatever reason it didn't strike me before posting it.
FYI it's a handheld focus stack.

Yes, I agree as well. In fact I think a tighter crop off the bottom would help...maybe around the wood debris. There is too much of a heavy area and it draws my eye from the subject.
