Lightroom Beta 2 is available (Mac only) at Adobe Labs (http://labs.macromedia.com/technologies/lightroom/)

There goes my productivity for the rest of the day.

Who needs productivity anyway?

Beta 2 is fantastic. I was a cynic at first, but well, I'm getting won over. I'd pay for this, now. Obviously, I'd like to see more DAM tools, but then again, I'm perfectly happy with iView MP3. And I'd like to see .PSD output / roundtrip editing.
But as a RAW converter, well, wow. It implements the ACR technology far better than ACR. Unfortunately, it still has "issues" with Olympus RAW files (only Olympus & PhaseOne seem to have got the hang of them, so far), but for my new Lumix LX1, is absolutely amazing.
Production quality at Beta 2.....

DRM
Any chance on expanding on your dislike of ACR for Olympus RAW files? Do you have an example you could post, processing in ACR and Olympus Viewer/Capture One. Viewer is impossibly slow on my rickety G4 533 and has an horrible interface which is why I avoid it.
PS back to Lightroom....will it run on my computer or do I need something a little more 21st century? I've 768 megs RAM and the original (ATI?) graphic card

DRM.....what's missing in LR DAM features (library) that is in ivmp3?
Just curious as to what the current holes are with Lightroom in this respect.
Thanks!
