Title: Sony FE 24-70 or Tamron 24-70 for A7II

I have the Sony A7ii and want to get a lens with a 24-70mm range. I know the Sony fe 24-70 is out there. I've read it's soft on both ends so it's best to stay within 35-65. There's also the Tamron 24-70 that needs an adapter. I understand it's sharp all the way through. Is the Tamron going to be too cluncky for a walk-around lens?

Here's the deal with me. I'm almost blind so auto focus is required. I'm not sure I'd be good at using focus peaking with the Tamron.  Maybe I should just go with the Fuko xt1 and the 18-55 and call it a day.
