Title: Brown Thrashers

I believe these two were a mating pair...or just really good friends  ;D

The first one is especially good. Nice contrast and tones. Even though the scene looks "busy" the bird still stands out. The second one isn't as good in comparison but shown on it's own it would be considered to be a good shot.

I personally like the second shot more. Probably the busy-ness in the first shot doesn't really work for me. The way the bird turn its head on the second adds dynamics to the photo.

You're like the bird king.  The second one is great for me, but as a pair they make a good story.

Glenn Bartley is the real Bird King and as well there are others on here who shoot them exceptionally well, but I'd like to think I am gaining some ground on them.  ;D

I really like the last one. The bird stand out really well.

Both are great photos, but the second is my favorite. Nicely done!
