It was one of those weekend, terrible light and lots of missed opportunities. Then just as I was about to give up after watching the promised sunset failed to appear, a last glow broke through for a few minutes.
Still not sure about the image, but it seems to grow on me - but maybe that is because I am bias!
North Wales (UK) coast. 2 images blended (one for the break on the horizon), Pentax 645Z with 28-45mm at 28mm. 13 seconds at f/16, ISO 100

A wonderful moment captured beautifully. Your wait was worth it!

I might square this off, but I definitely love the overall mood and feel.

Good image.

+1. Your patience paid off with a grand photo.

As it is it is perfectly fine. Not the contrasty saturated look that is usually seen on here but still very nice.

Thanks All
@maddogmurph - I did look at squaring it off, but I missed the cloud structure at the top, so went back to the native ratio
@stamper - I do try and avoid too much contrast and saturation (don't always manage it), but I try. So I assume the "not the contrasty saturated look that is usually seen on here" as a positive comment ;D

Nice shot, Phil! I would also miss the cloud if you square it off. I really like it as it is. The color is just nice for me! :)

Correct. It was a compliment.

Me, I wouldn't touch it. I like everything about it.
