There are likely several, but Wx fits the bill for me. National Weather Service feed. Gives you the alerts as well.

In Europe, I use WeatherPro and Wx, NOAA in the US… There's a ton of weather apps that work well.

Hey just a word of caution, based on experience.
I use a sun/moor predictor app on my iphone. On my most recent trip it wouldn't work for a very simple reason....... no cell service! I  guess we're all presuming that cell and even wifi is going to be there. Many of these apps use the ob-board position locator. Check before you leave and when you get there.

I have tried a couple of others but always go back to WeatherBug. I use it on Android, but I sure an i-version is available.
