Rare Platinum Rollei Rolleiflex 2.8 FX "Jock Sturges" Edition which has serial number K 07/25. The camera comes with black leather covering and with a signed book and picture: “Maya, Seattle, USA, 2012” in size 25,4 x 28,6 cm (10 x 11 inch).
In 2012 in honor of internationally acclaimed, American photographer, Jock Sturges, Foto Henny Hoogeveen (Leica Store Lisse), importer and distributor of Rollei products in The Netherlands and Asia, launched a very special limited edition of 108 Rollei Rolleiflex 2.8 FX “Platinum” cameras.
The cameras all have a unique serial number and are produced in four different colours. Each color carries the starting letter from "Jock" so it starts at ‘J 01’through ‘K 25’ and carry a special engraving on the platinum.
The cameras are included with signed book plus an original signed print of 1 of 4 different photographs – all drawn from work done by Mr. Sturges during spring and summer of 2012 with the legendary Rollei twin-lens-reflex. This signed print and book both carry the same serialnumber as the camera making it a very collectable combination!!
