I say you have crossed the line and are now in velvet Elvis territory. But hey, that's a huge market and you potentially can (and should) laugh all the way to the bank!

Also, the hands are kinda creepy...  :-\

You were doing some interesting stuff with the smoke, chauncy, but on this one I agree with Paul. There's probably a limit to how far you can go with this kind of thing. Man Ray caught the attention of the world of  photography with his "rayograms," but the novelty soon played out. There still are a few people doing the modern equivalent of rayograms, but nobody's ever heard of them or their work. In fact, few people have ever heard of a rayogram.

Russ, I hadn't heard of him...they look like nothing more than images taken with an x-ray machine.
Regardless, I think that I'm going overboard with the detail.  N'est pas.        :-[

Your technique is refined and impressive.

I see this angel figure as being an element. It might have more impact if it is used as a figure in the context of a tableau. I think your most successful images are ones against white backgrounds. Clearly, you are onto something. The challenge now is how do you use these wispy, ephemeral elements to engage the viewer.

I like the ones that aren't quite as obvious upon first glance. Those are more intriguing because they go beyond illustration and entice the viewer to explore and come up with their own conclusions.
