Title: White Desert - Egypt

Watching a TV documentary, this place has a rather remarkable landscape from years of wind erosion. At around 7 hours drive south west of Cairo, it is quite some ways off the beaten tourist track.

Has anyone reading this forum been into this area for the purposes of photography? Good/bad?

I've never been there but I've seen a breathtaking photo expo! A place definitely worth visiting.
