All are very nice, but the last one is a real standout in my opinion.

I agree. I like #1 too but it would be better if the nearer door weren't cut off at the bottom.

I was surprised nobody nitpicked on this ;)
Being careful on the left upper corner to barely exclude the sun I missed the other corner.

I found one less tight which has that corner. Included some sky in this one, I'm not sure I will keep it though.

Another fine set.
My favorite of the new set is the third.

As for the one with the blue sky, I think the sky color is distracting from an otherwise fine image. I would be tempted to desaturate the sky, making it a bland gray, while keeping color in everything else. I'm not sure it would work, but might be worth trying.

Damn, and to think that I spend a couple of minutes to get back some color and detail to that sky... I recall a recent debate here about some sky in a window that didn't have detail and pissed off few sensitive souls and I wanted to avoid that as after all some detail was there.

I wouldn't. The shot loses mystery with the sky included.

I love the colors and textures of these forts. The tunnels with doors #3 and #4 are the winners for me. Was this at El Morro or San Cristobal?

I have been to the same fort in PR; fantastic lens fodder. I too thought #4 was terrific and as for #1 (....wait for it), why don't you just crop it?
BTW, I really like your study of the doors and arches; I have a couple of similar. They were fascinating and it makes me want to go back.
