Title: How do I Import iPhone4S Panorama Photos into FinalCut 7, with goal of panning

I am new! And eager with a question. Thanks for having me.

GOAL: Import a few Panorama stills into Final Cut 7, with goal of panning across image in timeline.

I just attempted to import 2 iPhone4S Panorama photos into Final Cut, and they imported, but when on timeline, they are black.

They appear as a thin stripe across the 4x3 window; blacked out.

SPECS: iPhone4S Panorama photos (dimensions): 10800 × 2458

Thoughts? Do I need do tweak these photos beforehand in Photoshop, or something?

Any assistance/guidance would be appreciated.  ::)

Try converting the panorama to .tif format before importing to fcp7.

If this fails, try reducing the size first, save, and import again.

Figured it out. Had to match up the pixel size of pic and sequence.
