Title: Customized Shortcut Keys LR5

Does any one know if there is a way to create customized short cut keys in LR? With versions 3 and 4 there was a plugin called Keyboard Tamer that could apparently accomplish this, but it does not appear to work with LR5.

On Mac, you can define new shortcuts for menu entries in System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts.  Note that some entries are prefixed with three spaces, e.g. plugin entries.

I've been using VSCO Keys lately for editing. You can customise a lot of stuff with that product, but it's over priced.
