Title: Nikon and 4K

When will Nikon come out with a DSLR capable of recording 4K video?  I need one pretty soon.

If you need one now, get a GH4 with an adapter for Nikon lenses...

I actually often use a GH3 with a Metabones adapter (the one where the focal length is retained and one stop is won) together with my Nikon lenses. I prefer the video coming from the GH3 over the video from the Nikon.

I'd also look at the Samsung NX-1 with a Nikon adapter.  Each video frame is derived from a full 28MP readout.  Those frames look very very nice, and spectacular at 1080HD.  Not a trace of moire or aliasing.  Frighteningly good at fine detail.

I'm expecting Nikon will do 4K when Sony hands them a sensor that can do 4K.
