Michael,

I'm curious as to why you didn't bring your Sony A7R as you spoke so highly of it in a recent video.  Has something about it changed your mind vis a vis the XT-1?

Nothing should ever be read into what camera I use. I am constantly testing variou systems.

In Antartica soon I'll be using the A7R and A7II.

I don't care what you shot them on, they're good images and absolutely 'Luminous landscape' images in your style.

The observatories image is a bit 'soot and whitewash', old style lith, presented on the web, but I'm sure would be fascinating as a proper print.
