Title: Time lapse article
Post by: Paulo Bizarro on January 09, 2015, 04:16:29 am
First of all, thanks to the author for a very interesting and informative article. I would just like to suggest a correction in the following phrase:
"Already in 1987 Georges Mèlies used the cinematographic technique of the under cranking in his movie “Carrefour de L’Opera”.
I do not think that 1987 is the correct year.
Regards.

If you ever hope to find yourself in a position to photograph the Aurora Borealis take a look at the linked video Arctic Lightscapes(http://vimeo.com/67911653) at 1:50 and again 2:00. When you see a solid band of the aurora moving slowly in a southern direction it is a sign that energy is being charged and could soon be released in  a substorm. So stay alert when that happens.
