Title: Question about settings

I just moved to a Mac from a PC, not sure aout some of my settings.
I have all the pictures in an external hard drive, at the time of setting up Lightroom the backups and all other Lightroom related files end up being alocated in the Computer.

Can I move the backups, previews and catalog to the same external hard drive along with the pictures?

If so, what are the steps to do it?

putting your backup on the same drive as your photos is a recipe for disaster and woe.

I have two backup drives of the drive where the pictures live
Everytime files are added or edited the Drive gets backed up to the other backup ones
