Comments??

The b/w works for me and I am a sucker for rock forms and the fact
you are standing in front of a boulder that is millions of years old.
-
A few points from my side:
1. This rock deserves a more dramatic "feel". Shooting slightly contre-jour does not work very well. Also, the clouds could be more dramatic too.
2. The grass is tonally too grey/drab, adding to a certain "lifeless" of the photo.

Love the subject matter

I love the composition, but there really is so much more you could do with this. I've played around a bit in Aperture & making it look dramatic isn't difficult - even in this file there's still quite a bit to work with.

Composition is subtle and enjoyable for me.

Thanks for all of the comments everyone. Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been out with this damn flu for the past two weeks. Here's the final print of Rocks. Clouds and Sky. Took some your advice and made a few changes.

I like the final print. Ken

That final version is excellent!

Hugely improved, from drab to engaging, without going overboard. Worth a processing tutorial.
