Title: Sunset From Manua Kea, Hawaii
Post by: Ray on December 28, 2014, 02:05:15 am

This is another lesson in processing technique from Michael. The subject might appear so simple as to be banal, yet keeping those shadows black enhances and dramatizes the image greatly.

Mauna Kea? That's a pretty decent site for astrophotography :-)
I hope we get to see some pictures taken after sunset...

Indeed it was refreshing to see blacks rendered as black, without opening up the shadows as it seems the rigueur these days... wonderful image.
