Greetings,
I have a pair of brand new Epson R3000 printers, still unopened in the box. They are to be used at a charity portrait event on Friday, then will be used in the studio.
What's the best way to set these up and transport them? I feel like I need to set them up, load ink, and test them today, to make sure they both work properly. But I don't know how to transport a fully loaded printer.
Any suggestions are most welcome. Thanks!

My advise is to set the printers up, load the inks and fully test them. Then place in their original boxes, using the provided packing material. Transport the boxes horizontal and take care to avoid any shock.
I have transported my Epson R3000 this way to a number of printer workshops that I have conducted without any problems.

Awesome, thanks. I should be able to keep them horizontal for transport, and of course I'll use the box.

The single most important consideration is to immobilize the print head. Use the original packaging or some bubble wrap. I would not worry too much about the inks as long as you keep the printers relatively level. - Jim
